"Excellent location. Clean and spacious. Close to restaurants/attractions. Shame we could only stay for 1night due to work commitments."

"Avoid Room 22 floor, doors, bed squeaked. Door for the corridor was right next to our room every time someone opened it , it banged shut and the whole room shook. The boiler must also be close to the room or a main pipe noise from it all night ! Staff were all very nice and helpful. We had pre-booked a table for dinner stating not in the middle of the room or in between two others disappointed when it was bang smack right in the middle and no other tables we could have . Wouldn’t stay again. "

"The food was lovely. Mac and cheese meal was well presented as was the burger and fries. The beef burger was very good quality. These items were ordered from the children’s menu. Portion sizes were very generous. The breakfast choices were good too. Small cafe shops nearby for alternative breakfast fare as well as a local supermarket. Car parking is very good."

"Yes to both. Room very clean. Staff friendly. We have two concerns. The main one was that the lift wasn't working and none of the rooms were on the ground, or first, floor. We weren't warned of this beforehand. There were also steps outside down to get to the hotel part and up to get to the restaurant part. Also, we found the room very very hot overnight and couldn't do anything about it. Otherwise fine."

"Just the perfect and happily remembered start of our trip to Scotland! Great location just outside of Glasgow to get away from the city hustle and bustle. Fantastic food and beverages. Best decision made! Special shoutout to Jane, in the restaurant, for making us feel so welcome!"

"Heater resets itself back to 17c so had to keep bumping it back up. A couple minor bug bites in the morning. Paid $130 for one night but a fairer price for what you get should be half that price at most."

"The room was grubby and tired. It needed a full deep clean throughout and the furniture needed to be relaced as it was very badly chipped and scratched and had not looked like it had been replaced in a very long time. It looked like there was no care taken with any of the repairs made in the room, all very badly done. I would not stay here again. The room was very over priced at £219 for one night with no breakfast."
