Even though it was a bit further from the hiking activities we did, having the car and driving to them worked out perfectly for us. "This is a nice, old-fashioned, family-run hotel close by the lake shore, and about ten minutes walk from the rail stations and boat pier. Staff were nice and friendly and the hotel is clean, and quite basic - there was a good breakfast. A good option for anyone who wants a simple stay."
