"Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. This hotel is the best value in New Haven. Room was large, clean, and quiet. I have stayed at all the top hotels in NH, and while some offer additional services, they come at a price. If you are looking for an upscale hotel that offers a nice room and reasonable price, this is your best option. "

"Staff were wonderful, especially late evening desk clerk Alfred. Bed comfortable, clean room & bathroom, enjoyed breakfast options. Rooms could use an update, also curtain missing over windows in 2 rooms I reserved, we & other couple awoken early from light shining in, would have appreciated a couple more hours. Air conditioner loud & not able to adjust."

"Hotel very close to 91 & 95. Easy & free parking. Wonderful front desk. The building is very interesting and worth staying for that alone. Much is electric in the room and hard to navigate. The blinds are hard to adjust with the control at the door, not near the blinds. The lights in the bathroom go on when you walk by -- even at night when you might not want them to do that. Hard to adjust the bathroom lights to be bright enough for make up, no close up mirror. The mattress, pillows & sheets all were excellent. Fill your own decanter of water by the elevators. Coffee was tea-bag style, but tasted very good. Interesting experience."
