"This is a lovely property and was clean and overall well maintained. Staff could be more friendly. Dinner service was good. Room was lovely though no view. Quiet and relaxed. "
"Property is older so rooms were small but beds were comfortable. Breakfast had lots of options and it was nice not to have to leave the hotel. We found good restaurants for dinner in Breakin ( Red Skye) & Bradford (Claymore) a 10-15 min drive away.
Kyleakin is a a good hour to the hikes on the Trotternish Peninsula and 30 min to Portree so you need to plan around that travel time.

"We loved staying here. Great jumping off point for Skye, lovely staff who were warm, friendly and solicitous. Meals were wonderful as well, so kudos to the chef. "
"A great location for a visit to Skye. Its central location allows to to drive to any part of the island within 70 minutes. We had a clean and spacious room. The restaurant and bar were great and super convienant."
"Decent property but very noisy. All guests can be heard between rooms. Only cereal and some yogurt for breakfast. Restaurants there don’t open until 10 am so more choices at the hotel would be good. "
"The was a very comfortable and cozy hotel. I had a great time here. I found it impeccably clean, and the cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful. It's walking distance from the downtown shopping area, but still pretty quiet. There is a lovely lounge and bar area that is very comfortable and welcoming. The shower worked very well too. I would love to stay here again!"
