The hotel is beautiful, very clean and the staff is truly wonderful - they are truly courteous and attentive. I know some reviews mentioned the lack of hot water in the shower but that issue seems to be fixed - there was plenty of hot water and the water pressure is great. The restaurant was not open when we arrived so he ordered us a pizza which he delivered to our room and helped with getting a taxi the next day. There was a fair amount of street noise during the night, but for the price it is great for one night."

"What a great place for the price. It is a ways from the resorts and downtown Punta Cana but not hard to get a taxi at all. If you want a taste of the local lifestyle this is definitely the place you should stay. Less than 5 mins to Ole supermarket (which is kind of a Walmart) with a fully equipped kitchen. Even if I was going resorting I would stay for a couple days here just to understand how middle class Dominicans are living. Don't let the people who only stay at resorts tell you how...

"Property is inside an apartment complex very hard to find. The person with the key doesn't answer the phone. The property is clean however the uber service doesnt pick people inside that complex you need to walk about 3 blocks to the main street mind you 1 block is in constructions right in front of this place you have to walk over rocks and dust with your luggage. Terrible experience "
