"The lad at check in was lovely, the property was clean. I stayed with my spouse, the bed was split and wildly uncomfortable. The toilet was so hard to flush I nearly broke my arm. I was woken at 9 am to the sound of a drill hammering through my wall which lasted about an hour. No air conditioning and the room was very hot. The window opened onto the busy street. I wouldn’t personally stay here given the rough stay and steeper price point "

"There are two bathrooms on each floor, so I never had any issues with crowding. On the second floor, the shower and toilet are in separate areas, which was very convenient. The kitchen is well-equipped and there are two of them. There are two refrigerators in total and eight stove burners, so I never had any trouble cooking. Sometimes there is free food available if you're lucky. There is seating in the kitchen, as well as an indoor terrace and a garden, so the space feels very open and comfortable. The location is in a quiet area with traditional British houses. There is a convenience store about a 2-minute walk away, which is very convenient. There is also a large park next to the university nearby, which is perfect for relaxing. The staffs are friendly and helpful! I would definitely love to stay here again. 😌"

"Incredible location, five minute walk from the train station (though uphill) and right in Old Town. Place is clean and stylish, and the jail cell rooms are charming. Laundry was a plus."
