Hotels near St. George Golf Club

"The smell that hit us when we opened the door to our room was like ever experienced before with another hotel/motel. It was a terrible cringy animal farm with a nursing home diaper smell. It was so awful, I went to front desk to see if we could change rooms and saw a sign there was no vacancy. My daughter said she would sleep in the car it was that bad. I think it was the carpet that was full of the smells so we drove to get air fresheners and sprayed it on every inch and aired out the room and it helped for about 20 min and then the smells came back with a vengeance and left it in our nostrils, luggage and clothing. I would not let the kids touch the top comforter or walk on carpet without their shoes it was so sketchy. The bathroom and other area has odd markings on the wall you are not sure if it's human fluids or stains. There was someone else's rolled up sock under our side bed rail and a banana string left on the coffee cups. My family was nervous to sleep there and I must admit I was too. I think the star rating they show is deceiving as it is far less. Stay at your own risk. "

"These are a little older, but not bad for the price. They have a 10:00 am check out time and the host at check in would not even consider an 11:00 am check out, which is pretty standard in the industry. There is no way they can clean all the units right at 10:00. We also met another host on property that was not a happy person at all! These property hosts seem like a bunch on cranky people that hate life and their jobs. Not sure I would stay here again, even if it is cheaper. "

"It wasn't horrible and the swimming pools were fun (if not a bit small for the size of property/number of guests) but it's a bit dated / dirty and they never had clean towels."

"Hotel is tired and old, fine to rest your head but our room the air con unit was busted and incredibly loud if on. Beds were comfy enough and pool looked fine (small). Not my favourite place to stay but would use if I couldn’t go anywhere else "

"We enjoyed the breakfast. If I were to add anything to the breakfast, it would be plain yoghurt and blueberries and also plain oatmeal-for those who do not want sugar but want cereal and yoghurt."
