The location is beautiful, clean warm spacious rooms and so very peaceful. We have travelled far and wide across many countries in many hotels and Kriunes tops the list. "Only the bare minimum was available in the kitchen. Bring your own corkscrew and knives! We had to pay a lot for extra cleaning of the room and then noticed they had not done much, not changed the sheets nor cleaned the bathroom. There was a lot of dust behind and under couch.... "

Please note that this site is very close to the regional airport where the tourist helicopters depart from, so there is quite a lot of noise during the day. This didn't bother us too much, and all the benefits of the establishment itself being quiet compensated for the airport noise. "Although the room is very simple but there are extra WC and shower room on each floor so very convenient. It is very close to the supermarket within walking distance. The shared kitchen on the main level is a big plus which we did not expect."

"This was my second stay at the Fishermans Village after staying last year too. Experience was again great, the parking was easy and it was nice and quiet around the premise. Easy access to the surrounding water with the views being brilliant, particularly at sunrise and sunset! Álftanes is a great place to stay if you have a car and aim to travel around the west of Iceland. "

Fraud as they blamed each other. The internet did not work in my room and the person who responded could only say “good luck”. Horrible place to stay. Would not recommend either summer day or Expedia. "
