"Only the bare minimum was available in the kitchen. Bring your own corkscrew and knives! We had to pay a lot for extra cleaning of the room and then noticed they had not done much, not changed the sheets nor cleaned the bathroom. There was a lot of dust behind and under couch.... "

The location is beautiful, clean warm spacious rooms and so very peaceful. We have travelled far and wide across many countries in many hotels and Kriunes tops the list. "The Castle House Luxury Apartments are I such a great location. Everything is within walking distance with the bus stops to most of the tours within 5 minutes walk. The apartments themselves are very clean, well equipped and warm! There is underfloor heating in the bathroom and being Iceland, instant hot water!! The beds are very comfortable, with lovely warm quilts and pillows. Check in is easy, with a key code sent to you just before you arrive and although there isn’t a reception desk you...

"Finding lodging in Iceland isn't easy on a budget. So when I saw this "relatively" low priced guesthouse, I must say I wasn't expecting much. What a great surprise it was! It couldn't have been any cleaner. No carpets anywhere (carpets in hotels are rarely fresh and clean). It was extremely quiet. There was a balcony. My friend and I were in a room with a shared bathroom and there were only 3 rooms sharing the bathroom. Walking out the front door the big church is just a block away and in full...
