"The USP of this property is the amazing view down to Lago di Lugano across into Switzerland. There is also the interesting story about the old funicular railway to the rear of the hotel which closed in 1977 but may be refurbished and reinstated if funds can be secured. It is a rural location, about 20 mins walk from the nearby town of Lanzo d'Intelvi and the bus service from Como drops you about 400m from the hotel reception if you aren't driving. "We stayed at this hotel as part of our honeymoon and it was incredible. We were given an amazing room with a small balcony and incredible views of the lake. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, booking a taxi for us when we checked out to take us to the train station. The restaurant and breakfast was very good and it had incredible views of lake from our table. "

"Das Hotel verfügt über sehr tolle, grosszügige Zimmer. Wir hatten ein riesiges Wohnzimmer und 2 Schlafzimmer. Perfekt für den Urlaub mit der Familie. Der innen und aussen Pool war toll für die Kinder. Aber auch für die Erwachsenen. Das Frühstück war nicht schlecht. Die Haferflocken haben gefehlt am Buffet aber auf Anfrage habe ich sie dann bekommen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden wieder kommen. "
