"Our room was clean and updated. But the hair dryer and phone didn't work; the smoke detector was covered in a plastic bag by some reason. The breakfast was good and all options were kept in stock. Kids enjoyed the pool. Two main complaints: - No tea/coffee in the room or lobby. They unlocked the breakfast area every time we asked for a cup of tea. - Someone broke a window in the breakfast area a year ago. "Very nice and quiet, convenient location just off the highway, and with a backdrop of the river. Enjoyed sitting outside for breakfast with a river view!"

"The web site said a pool and hot tube and there is not one on site, you have to walk across the street to another Hotel and use theirs - not pleasant. The web site says " River Front" - It is not - you have to walk across the street and go behind the hotel across the street. The ceilings must be paper thin, we had to leave a day early due to the stomping around in the room above."

"Everything was great. This property is a 20 minutes or less walk to quite a few attractions and downtown area. A very short walk to the rafting place I believe is Outdoor Adventures...which was also an amazing time. The continental breakfast was ok, wish it had warm food, but had lots of options as far as toast, yogurt, muffins, and bagels. The property and rooms were clean and I even saw people vacuuming ledges and going above and beyond to tidy things. The outdoor area had beautiful blooming...

"Great value. Friendly staff. Good parking and location to the gondola. Not a big variety of restaurants within a few blocks but not too far from inner town. Everything worked, including all the light bulbs haha. Only heads up is that the breakfast and coffee are a bit underwhelming and the laundry facilities are a single washer and dryer. Overall a good value for a somewhat expensive town."

"Booked room through Expedia. Paid in full. The hotel did not have my reservation. After 30 minutes finally sent me to a terrible room. Had to request another. I've had multiple excellent experiences at Hotel Maxwell/Denver. This was not one of them. I paid top dollar for a sub par room. Wont be going back."

"I loved that the room we got had three queen beds. I liked how nice the breakfast was in the morning and how many tables there were for guests to sit at. But for the price I paid, I didn’t like that my room came without a shower curtain, dirty carpets and fresh blood stains on my pillow. My son’s bed didn’t have a mattress protector and had what looked like a puke stain under the sheet. The cleanliness was pretty upsetting."
