However, personally I thought it was a bit OTT, there are plenty of great things about the place and location but it had too much of a business feel rather than a family stay. The staff at check in wasnt the most helpful. I had lost a hat and enquired if it might have been mislaid there. The desk staff just ask for my passport and ID 3 times. Rather than saying, 'How can I help?' This gave me the feel that it is very business and formal environment. Would I stay again, probably not with loads of alternative options in the area."

"I stayed at Cham Cham for 8 nights. The hotel is very new and clean. I stayed in explore twin room by myself. It is big enough. It is a bit far from Taipei, so if you need naps or rest in mid day while visit Taipei, Cham Cham location is not ideal for that. The review for the staff is mixed. The cleaning crew was very thorough and friendly. However, the front desk staff was not very friendly. They were not mean, but didn't really care for saying Hi to the guests. They didn’t smile at all nor care for any questions I had for them. As a traveler, naturally I have some questions, they were not helpful and not friendly. No smile at all. They all seemed like college-aged students who treated this job like another part-time job versus a job in the hospitality service business. This is very different from other hotels I stayed in in Taiwan."

"This is the best hotel to stay for a night in Taiwan. Right at Ximending, MTR is right outside, which can take you to airport and other places quickly- you can’t beat that. The room is clean and comfortable, the staffs are friendly, amenities are great. I would definitely stay here again should I visit Taiwan. "
