"Excellent stay"

"Stayed 1 night at a weekend when attending a friends party nearby. Big room with en-suite. Had to go into the bar to check in, although busy someone attended to us straightaway and was very helpful. The milk for the tea/coffee was out of date, I'm sure they would have changed it for us if we had needed it. The live band played until gone 11pm and the normal music continued until after midnight, so if you are looking for a quiet night at the weekend this might not be for you! "

"We had to abandon trip due to an emergency tried to move the booking to the following weekend. Initially hotel suggested it was possible but then decided it wouldn’t. Expedia staff were excellent in trying to assist. we understand the terms of the booking but as a frequent traveller the first time we have found a hotel operator to be inflexible which is a shame. As we weren’t able to complete the visit unable to comment on the rest of the facilities but unlikely to choose stop at a days inn...

"Great location, easy to get to, great big parking, nice little village with a Chinese takeout across the street, a Coop close by. Sadly the cleanliness of the room was poor. Grime in the bathroom where floor meets walls. Very dirty remote control, some kind of sauce spilled on the side of the chest of drawers. Bed linen clean and bed comfortable. The radiator nob not functioning as it should. Should have stayed two nights but left after the first. Sorry, but proper cleaning of the room is so...

"Barely acceptable, is giving more praise than deserved. Bed had a huge dent in the sleep area. Toilets seat was broken, & had been for a while. Lifts none functioning. Room freezing, on what was the hottest day after the year. Actually pump iced chilled water thro radiators. Quilt thin. No food at hotel. Much building demolition. "We booked the apartment in August 2023 so the family could attend a music event which was local to apartment. On the day of Travel 26th April 2024 the booking was cancelled via email.. No phone call to warn us but an alternative 30+ miles away was offered in the email. Unfortunetly many other people have fallen fowl to this sort of approach due to many hotels being sold out and high prices starting to appear due to both the music event and a Wolves home football game.
