"Room 515 had an awful smell. They did try to fix it but it didn't help. The bar tender at the pool was very rude to my child when she asked for water. The front desk staff was kind though."

"There were termites and not very clean. The pillows smelled like cigarette smoke. The parking spaces were too small and narrow. There was also an issue with not enough parking on the property."

"I have never been so disappointed at a rental property and this was my first time to book a place through Expedia. The picture and description of what I rented were not accurate and when i received a call that I could have an upgrade, i was happy about that. If what I got was an upgrade, I am glad I didn't get the first one. "It was a all over a good trip and nice little condo"

"Unit was clean and AC worked well. The beds were not very comfortable, too soft for us. The bedroom walls and bathroom wall and ceiling had several areas that need repairs/paint. Next visit, I will pay a little more and get a nicer place. I was traveling with my mother who uses a walker. Pictures on website show one small step to get in unit from the porch. What wasn't shown is the other 2 steps to get into the porch. Also, bathroom door was so narrow that my mom's walker wouldn't fit."

"This was me and my girlfriends first time here and we were incredibly pleased with our stay. The property was beautiful, well maintained, clean, quiet. Staff was phenomenal and attentive. We plan to make this our go to stay anytime we’re in the myrtle beach area."

"This was our first stay at Avista resort. We celebrated our 35 wedding anniversary. The resort was very clean and our room was top notch. The staff from office to the maids to people who helped with the luggage was top notch. We will definitely be staying at Avista resort again probably in September. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place to stay in North Myrtle beach."

"The first room offered smelled of chlorine. Although I did not ask for it the second room was handicap accessible and I was uncomfortable using the facilities. Rather than change rooms again we stayed there."

"Room cleaning was good, pool was good, servers by the pool were friendly. The restaurants food is ok at best and priced like a Michelin star restaurants. Don’t get the pizza."
