Hotels near El Dorado Country Club

"The rooms were fairly large but the hotel is extremely dated and in need of renovation. Lots of areas just in need of maintenance, for example the wooden shutters on my first floor room were broken in multiple places and when I tried the door handle on the connecting door it fell off in my hand. I could let all that go as the price was very good for Palm Springs area, so you get what you pay for, right? However the reason for my low rating was the loud music. Thursday night they had a DJ in the bar area, even though there was literally no one in the bar he was blasting that music like he was at Coachella. I could hear it clearly all the way down the hall and in my room. I asked for them to reduce the volume, which they did, but so minimally that it didn’t matter. It played until 10pm. I was traveling alone, but if I had little kids with me trying to sleep I would have been furious. "

"Countless things wrong with the room....like broken door handles, loud air conditioning, unwatchable television. But, hey...at least they charged us $15 a night to park our car. Seriously!!!"

"Breakfast was good and the pool was nice. We had a call from the front desk about a noise complaint but we were already in bed so that was annoying and false. Not sure even what noise it was whether it was voices etc. we were in 3rd floor and complaint supposedly was from people in 2nd floor so try to get top floor. Elevator was broken and uneven which caused problems and accidents"

"Staff members are lovely, helpful and were able to address all our needs. Resort is beautiful, situation in a nice, peaceful area and close to shops/restaurants. Room was spacious and clean. Only thing to note is that we could hear the voices from the room next door - they were talking normally but the sound was still coming through so not sure how thin the walls are. We tried to keep the volume in our room low so that we didn't disturb them, but optimally we should have been able to move around normally without that worry."

"I wanted this place to be the charming little hotel it said it was in the reviews, but it’s really a worn out motel that needs everything deep cleaned, painted or updated. My room had been wiped down but was far from clean. Stains on the bedding, floors, and walls + the furniture was all beat up and miss matched. This place is a 5, not a 9.. I would have stayed at Motel 6 had I known how off putting this place would be.."
