"Check in and out was a breeze. The staff was wonderful - helpful and joyful. The bed was really comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower. My husband forgot his fan that helps him sleep - called the front desk and they found a fan for him. Breakfast was not excellent but very good. We were there for a football game at UNC and that was a very convenient location. Definitely would recommend staying here. "

"We loved staying here for our anniversary and will probably make it an annual occurrence. The hotel is right downtown and near restaurants, and parking is right in front. If you want to stay in a hotel from the 1700s in Hillsborough, then this is the place to go."

"hotel is great. Modern, clean, quiet and staff was accommodating. It's a short drive to UNC and Franklyn Street. But it's quite secluded otherwise. There's nothing within walking distance, and just some boring buildings nearby."
