"Lovely place to stay. Really enjoyed having evening meal/BBQ with the family/owner, and the food was fabulous, and fantastic view from the balcony. Very helpful in advising what/where/when re Etosha Park. Only minor problem was finding the place, take the D2710 off the C38, pass 2 cattle grids (the 2nd is about 30km along the D2710), and then travel a further 8km to see their gate on the right-hand side, which has a big red sign - Push to Open, and then travel about 2km to reception. And a 4x4 is essential for the last part."

"This review is for Epacha Lodge and not Eagle Tented Lodge. They are on the same property, but i was upgraded to Epacha lodge. The property really has a lot of charm with colonial architecture. You can see wildlife while being at the restaurant, which serves delicious food. The rooms are spacious, with balcony and outdoor showers. You can go to Etosha Park with 1h drive; a guided safari in Etosha is a must-do activity. Massages are great too. The staff is really adorable."

"Perfect spot close to the main park entrance. For the price this is the best in the area. Serves good food. Room is clean. Hot shower. WiFi isn’t great but other than that it’s a good place."

"This is a lovely property in an incredible setting. It has its own white rhinos that come right up to the water hole just by the (rather cold!) pool (maybe cover the pool at night??). We were gob-smacked by this. The chalets are beautifully appointed and are huge with outdoor showers and a terrace overlooking the reserve. Some are a bit of a distance from the lodge so you may have to drive over. Breakfast is good and we were supplied with a good packed lunch. The staff are very attentive but the draw here are the white rhinos!"

"Amazing location and lovely staff. Rooms a little dated but don’t let that put you off. We had a fabulous 3 nights at the property. Saw lions, elephant, giraffe, cheetahs, rhino and many more with our superb guide. Staff couldn’t have done more for us and were so friendly. Beautiful location and very respectful of animals in the park"

"Food was top notch and the staff were wonderful. The cottages were cleverly designed. There were two swimming pools on the premises. We were there to do safari but there were the odd shy, wild animal lurking about before we even started our safari. I highly recommend this place."
