"Great property with lovely staff. The weather wasn’t great so we spent an afternoon in the lounge catching up with friends who were also staying. Would definitely return to do all the outdoor activities we missed this time around. "

"A fabulous hotel. We had a very warm welcome and the owners couldnt do enough to accommodate us. The room was beautifully decorated , clean and comfortable. Nice big mugs for tea and coffee aand spares in the corridor if needed which was a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was continental (cooked only available on the Sunday morning) but was sufficient and nicely presented. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you Neil and Heather "

"A special place just bursting with character. I stayed in the old cart shed which was spacious and well equipped. The breakfast was luxurious and delicious. The only negative thing i can say is that wasnt a vegetarian choice on the evening set menu."

"We enoyed the doubly “smart” room — both the clean, modern decor and the motion-activated automatic lights for the main stairs (though they take time to come on) and the bathroom (shut the bathroom door when not in use so you don’t trigger those lights when you walk around in your room). Also appreciated the towel warming rack, and the frosted bathroom windows. The room was very comfortable and quiet, as Grimston is a tiny village in a rural area. "Nice warm welcome, room was better than we expected at the price, Hot drinks available in room , parking next to room, tv with sky, but only watched the bbc news, Breakfast was excellent nicely cooked, nothing was too much trouble as I went slightly off menu, good price. bar in the evening had a nice friendly crowd in, overall a very good place to stop"
