"Upon finding Hotel Metropolis we realised that it was a well-situated hotel for all the restaurants/cafes/bars/museums in the newer part of Kaunas as well as the Science Island and the Akropolis Shopping Centre. It was approximately a 20-minute walk from the hotel to the Old Town where Kaunas Castle is situated. The Metropolis Hotel is a lovely renovated old hotel with lots of character. We felt very safe and comfortable at this hotel. The hotel breakfast was served in the dining room...

"Hotel was literally next door to bus station which was very convenient. Local bus stop and large supermarket also next door. Breakfast option was adequate (€12). Usual compact room. "
