"The staff was kind and helpful and the outside of the hotel was well maintained. Our room was just okay though and the bathroom was covered in long black hair when we arrived. We left quite early in the morning and washed all our clothes as soon as possible"

"We stayed in the Villas which were more affordable but still offered all the amenities of the Sheraton complex. The room was a studio with great small kitchen and laundry facilities. We enjoyed the balcony which looked out on beautiful garden area. Only drawback in this size unit was no table to eat at so would recommend larger room. Short walk to pool, beach, restaurants. All were beautiful with great food. We loved the luau on grounds! Friendly, helpful staff. Would love to go back!"

"We were disappointed that the air conditioner was broken and we had a few window units. They were noisy and not very efficient. We got the note about the AC almost a month before our stay. Seems like they had time to fix it… We were told there was no pack n play for the toddler that was traveling with us and was sent a link to rent it??? That is one thing that absolutely should be provided by the property. So we stopped on the way from the airport to purchase one which was cheaper than renting...

"Spent one night at the Kauai property. Only glitch was at checkin only; one clerk to do it. Got behind a lady that had an issue with an upgrade? Maybe more personel needed. Quite irritating to say the least. 20 minutes of bliss!!"

"The resort is beautiful! What a great location! The beach was perfect! Lots of things on the property cost extra, such as $30 per night for parking. That would have been ok but many locals take the parking spots and don’t even have parking stickers. The parking lots were not monitored for those without stickers so makes me wonder if we could have just parked for free too. Also, they only clean the rooms every other day so we were having to go find coffee pods and other supplies that we were...

"There is no central or split/window air conditioning in the rooms. They do provide a cheap floor standing portable AC unit only in the bedroom. Since it is tropical rainforest weather , the rooms stay pretty warm without air-conditioning. We had to request additional pedestal fans to keep us cooler in living area . The condo was not well maintained , creaky door hinges , a super noisy exhaust fan in the bathroom with no separate switch which has to be on if the light is on , no blackout...

"We love this property! This is our second trip to Kauai and both times we stayed at this Marriott. The pools are saltwater and so relaxing to be in. We enjoyed the hot tub too. This property is located directly off Poipu Beach. Right down the beach you can see the turtles at sunset and the occasional monk seals. Many of the people who stay there are time share owners but we are not. We basically had a nice hotel room. The reasoning for the 4 stars was our AC. We had maintenance come in on 4...
