"One of the top hotels I have ever stayed. The service was nothing less than exceptional. The Reserve was the high end room in this hotel and it was worth every penny. We felt like royalty. "Just back from 4 nights in this wonderful hotel. It is located right in the heart of Old Town Funchal, a block from the Cathedral, two blocks from the waterfront and near several great restaurants. Even though the hotel is in the middle of a pedestrian area, our room was very quiet. We had a junior suite and it was excellent value, with a large room, spacious walk-in shower, fluffy towels and bathroom amenities.
