"This little gem has become my home away from home in Oakland. It has everything you could want in a city that already has everything—great food, cool bars, amazing music, plenty to do, etc. It's all brand new in a renovated space. The rooms are large and comfortable, the bathrooms are sparkling, and the service is impeccable. There's a rooftop courtyard, a game room, and good eats and drinks right next door. It's more comfortable than anywhere else in the Bay Area, and just as accessible. Well...

"Cute rooms for the rate being charged and very clean. Beware that they may charge your card for a deposit in an amount that is double the room rate — instead of doing a “hold” on your card to be released at checkout. The difference is that by fully charging your card, you will have to wait 3-5 business days to get your deposit refunded. "The rooms were clean and surprisingly spacious. Big bathroom, the sink is oddly small, though, it could use an update. The shampoo and conditioner, smelt great. The last but not least is the employees, they are super friendly and helpful. When I my car didn't start, on my check out day. The front desk man let me use his personal jump start kit to get my car going again. I am so grateful for people like this, helping out when they can, even when it's not included in their job description. Bless...

"Bathroom was moldy and shower and tub were filthy with black scum in crevices. Hair on the floor indicated that it wasn’t swept after the last guest. Otherwise it was basic and gave what I needed which was a cheap roof, bed, shower. The front office person was accommodating."
