"A beautiful place and a real honour to stay here as a westerner. Robes and amenities were provided and the baths were excellent including an outdoor area. Very helpful and friendly staff made us feel welcomed. There was even a mini stamp rally around the building which was great for us and our teen child to explore. "Stayed in a Japanese style room with tatami floor, and side room with 2 beds. Very spacious and nice view of little garden. Chose half board and the Japanese style dinner was very tasty, served in traditional partitioned areas for semi-private dining. Similar to a tasting menu with lots of small dishes and courses. Onsen area was lovely and relaxing. Indoor and outdoor onsen plus sauna."
