"Room was clean, simple, and quiet. Efficient check--in and check-out. Continental breakfast was a cut above the usual, with good-quality pastries and plenty of options. I would have liked an easy chair and reading lamp in my room, but otherwise it was a nice place to stay - a beautiful historic property. Will try the tavern next time."

"Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Poughkeepsie. The room was spacious, modern, and very clean, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. We especially appreciated the in-room kitchen, which was thoughtfully stocked with dishes, glassware, and a full-size refrigerator—great for longer stays or just having the option to keep snacks and drinks on hand. The staff throughout our stay were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made check-in and the overall experience smooth and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was also a nice perk—about what you’d expect for a free hotel breakfast, but fresh, convenient, and a good way to start the day without having to go out. Our only minor drawback was that the shower water pressure was a bit on the weaker side. It wasn’t a major issue, but something worth noting. All in all, it was a comfortable and convenient stay, and we would definitely consider returning in the future."

"The breakfast menu was fresh and the coffee at all times was a nice perk. The staff at checkout was rude and even though we had asked for adjoining rooms, we were not provided that at check in. We were instead given rooms on opposite floors. There was something spilled on the side table and something on the bottom of the bathroom door. "

"There was a mystery pill found on the floor in the room. Lucky my dog didnt eat it. Still taking him to the vet. The hotel staff had nothing to say about it and even tried to take away the evidence. Also, anyone can walk in and wander around. Doors open without a key. "
