"Excellent location in the old city with easy walk to the sights plus the riverside cafes, shopping etc. The nicely planned room included coffee and kettle plus a useable minifridge and window you can open. A/c excellent. I lucked out with view of castle. The bathroom was accessible, so roomy."

"A lovely clean hotel with helpful staff. Had a comfort double room which was very spacious. Looks newly refurbished, so modern with a nice reception area. Very central to the old town of Ljubljana and a short walk to the bus and train stations. Breakfasts were lovely with a wide variety of hot and cold food. Staff cleared tables quickly and replenished food regularly too. A fantastic stay at City Hotel."

"I am not typically a fan of antiques and classic hotels but I liked this one. Sitting in the classic decor and looking out over the lake was a nice. We only had breakfast but the food prep and presentation were great. There seems to be a focus on dinning I thought from the food and the staff."

"My fiancé and I had a great stay. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. They ensured that we were comfortable and made arrangements for all additional things we needed such as transport to the airport and food. The rooms were very clean and well kept. Highly recommend for a cozy stay."
