"We had a two night stay here for our anniversary. Cannot fault anything. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was a great experience lots of choices from cold and hot options. Lovely garden to sit and relax. Had a lovely walk along the canal. Overall a great experience. "

"Nice hotel and staff. 4 Euros per day to use gym. Should be included in hotel cost / complimentary. Perhaps separate group, however same building. Sauna, steam room, pool and shower we very nice as were the locals who I met with gym memberships."

"The Owners and staff were lovely, Lynn was so helpful and went out of her way. Lynn, Ruby and the handsome Joe was a delight to talk to. Very welcoming and up for a chat, great company when feeling lonely or just want to socialize. The bedroom felt relaxing and the curtians were great at keeping out the cold. "This hotel is fine as long as you are not put on the second floor which is right above the 24 hour gym they have in the hotel. You will hear everything loud music to running machines etc, the staff seem to know it is an issue but it seems the hotel do not want to fix it. The first night I got very little sleep and they could not move on the second night I got moved to another floor and it was fine"

"I’ve stayed here 3 times before. The staff are excellent everytime. For some reason everytime I come I get the loudest rooms looking onto walls or roofs, whereas people I’m travelling with get balconies & views onto the courtyard. On this particular stay my room was next to a huge machine that was left on all night. It was incredibly loud & was hard to fall asleep. "I expect that no one from Expedia had visited this 'hotel' basically a pub with four rooms. They were tired, decoration poor, carpets grubby, toilet was noisy (Macerator) no breakfast options at all and very expensive, £95 per room!"
