"A lovely one night stay. The pub is in a quiet village location, close to lots of interesting places in beautiful Dorset countryside. Our room was large, with an equally large bathroom. We ate in the pub in the evening. The menu choice was good, prices reasonable and the food was excellent. We had our breakfast served outside in the garden and, again, this was tasty, hot and really enjoyable. Thoroughly recommended."

"Fantastic location, our hosts were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent and the rooms comfortable and very clean. We’d probably choose a room without a sea view next time- the tractor that rakes the sand starts around 6.30am and the main road in front is noisy. Thoroughly recommend"

"I had a great short stay, our host and staff were lovely, I was made to feel very welcome on arrival and was given just the right amount of information about my stay, which did come in useful. My room was a good size, very very clean and tidy, I had a great view of the harbour and was very happy with my choice. I will look forward to staying again when I go back to Weymouth. "Lovely rooms with big open windows. Nice view. Staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. They even found me real milk instead of the dreaded UHT milk. Shower was and plentiful after a days walking. Smuggles inn is about 1km from bus stop through farmers paddock. Food was awesome especially the breakfast provided "

"Checked in at 5pm and ordered dinner. Service was excellent. Had a lovely Sunday roast dinner. Room is lovely, decor is very nice, great shower in bathroom. Room next to busy road but had no trouble sleeping. Very comfortable room. Breakfast was excellent. Staff are very nice. Will definitely stay here again"
