"We loved the features throughout the building. The beams, low ceilings, uneven floors...really kept the character of the building. Rooms were nice albeit a bit strange having the shower in the room and not in the ensuite but good use if available space given grade 2 listed building regulations."

"I everything, from entering until leaving our stay was amazing. We hadn’t even left and we were looking at when we would be coming back. The staff were very helpful. Only concern was the noise coming from the spa which was directly below our room, we were not notified that at 7.30am a loud humming noise would be heard. When we do rebook we will be wanting a different room (room 16) apart from that it was great!"

"The spa centre was excellent. We enjoyed a few hours by the beautifull heated pool and jacuzzi. The room were spacious and nicely decorated with nice balcony and views. The breakfast was impeccable. Highly recommended!!"

"A really nice overnight stay and dinner at The Swan / Bel and Dragon. The building is delightful - full of beams and historical atmosphere but very well maintained. The bar was certainly very well patronised and appears popular with locals while most of the 9 rooms appeared to be occupied, based on the numbers at breakfast. We had a good evening meal and an excellent breakfast with a wide range of choice. Nice touches were the residents-only sitting room, which is a lovely large room with a...
