"Rooms were too hot even with ac on lowest setting. The ac is OK if you are standing in front of the vent but the cool air by passes the beds. We tried opening the windows to get some air in however the noise of the seagulls screeching outside was unbearable. This meant very little sleep. On a positive, the room was spacious, bathroom lovely, staff very pleasant."

"This is a beautiful house close to the harbor. We had a triple room with bathroom. Good size room, I wish my room in Edinburgh looked like this. The whole property is spotless and up to date. The hosts are very nice and helpful and serve a good breakfast with lots of options. It's worth spending more time and relax in the chill Stonehaven. They have on site parking."

The railway station is a 15 to 20 min walk so worth bearing in mind. "Everything about this experience was so unique and warm. It made our stay in Stonehaven so memorable! Everything is so clean. The room even came with a fan which my husband relies on at home. The kitchen is well equipped to cook your food if needed and the option to use the clothes washer was a huge bonus. Breakfast options were plenty and the coffee machine was exactly what I needed!"
