"Splendid from start to finish! Friendly and attentive staff (each and every person we met across all areas had a very high standard of service) - super welcoming to dogs - tasty, quality food and drink (including a great quality, extensive breakfast offer) - bar with a nice vibe - beautiful grounds - excellent facilities. Room was clean and had good amenities. Excellent parking (with charging points). We will return!"

"The property could do with some tlc especially the clubhouse The coffee table in our room was damaged and needs replacing The pool is nice and the steam room and sauna were also good except there were a lot of children when we went, nothing wrong with that but the steam room and sauna clearly says nobody under the age of 16. If you have signs up they should make sure under 16s do not use these it did spoil our experience as lots of children in and out of these facilities. Breakfast was very busy we had to wait a while for sausages and bacon to appear a little annoying as other food on our plate got cold while waiting, they knew it was going to busy so should have been more prepared but when we did eat it it was a good Staff excellent and friendly "

"Everything was good re the property except the restaurant with non availability. Kippers not available both days, veg pie first day and just served the last gammon and a waiter who couldn’t bring things like vinegar and brown sauce, all in all however a good stay and would return again. Netflix an advantage!"

"This place is possibly the best we have stayed in. The customer service was second to none, every single member of staff, and there seemed to be quite a few, was extremely obliging and friendly. The court yard room was immaculate and had everything you needed. The Breakfast was the best we have had. We ate in the restaurant three nights and the food was great as was the choice on the menu. Bar had plenty of choices of drinks. Good area to explore with plenty of places nearby. We would recommend this place and will definitely be returning, whoever recruits the staff knows what they are doing and there were all an asset to the business. Thanks again for a great stay."

"No bar or food available. Shower very poor water flow and only luke warm. At least the parking was free. "

"It was a good find on short notice just a minute or so from city centre. It included a kitchenette that could be very handy, and a clothes washing machine in the room! Ideal if you plan to stay a few days."
