Need a big change before we will be back (never)

Very unfriendly service staff. For a period we had no warm water. Electric was out and people stuck in lifts. Parking is far from hotel and open. The carpet in dining Area is very dirty. The transport tram to downtown stops at 1900 ! Needed early breakfast some days but not possible and no flexibility. All rooms have only bathtub with no shower curtain so water everywhere (if warm)

Very sharp, professional, helpful and friendly staff. I visited Karlovy Vary more than 10 times in the last decade and stayed in the other six hotels in the city. I can say for sure that hotel Imperial has the best accommodations among them.

Amazing place

We loved this place it was amazing . I would say the only thing I didn’t like was how far it is from everything. The transit is pretty great though and it doesn’t take long to get to the city centre .

We had a half-board including 3 procedures (massage and bubble baths). The breakfast and dinner buffets had plenty of food choices. The hotel is suitable for people that want to relax and enjoy a quiet stay in a beautiful part of Karlovy Vary. Overall, the stay was amazing!

Great stay

We had a fantastisk time at Imperial. The room was wonderful, large, clean and with a great view. We had half board and the food was very nice. We loved the pool. It is easy to get to the center with the cable car. If there is one thing I would change than it would be that there should be a kettle in the room to have some tea as there is a very nice coffee maker.

Great experience except for the spa

Overall we had a great experience. The room had a nice view. It was spacious and clean. The wellness Center was not impressive. The sports center seemed nice as well as the tennis courts. The hotel offers free public transport pass which brings you to the city center in just 2 minutes.

Beautiful building in nice surroundings with lovely views over the valley. The reception staff were efficient and helpful. We ate in all three restaurants during our stay. The food was OK and fairly typical of the area but beware of extras! We were charged 5 euros for tap water, which frankly, is taking the p***. Also, 20 euro/night for parking a car on top of the room price seems excessive given that the hotel isn't in the centre of town.

Grand spa hotel

Grand hotel with huge rooms (suites) and spa treatments. Located a little away from the town centre up a steep hill - furnical service provided but not operating in the evening. We had half-board that was fine for breakfast but not recommended for dinner, as the restaurant was very crowded and appeared understaffed, not living up to a five star rating. We upgraded to the a crate restaurant for a fee and this was excellent but in terms of food and service.

Overall nice stay

Not up to the standard of a western five star hotels, but nice and historic hotel and overall good stay. Swimming pool and sauna was ok and do the job. Breakfast ok. I didn't appreciate 1) the cost of parking (15€/day if you want to avoid a 10/15 minutes walk) 2) the 20min offered massage is a joke (I checked-in at 1AM, and the only slot they offer was 7AM the same day ...they couldn't change it)

Clean hotel, rooms are cleaned every day. Many rooms have balconies. It is overlooking green hills and air around is clean and fresh. We slept with open windows. Rooms are huge, same with bathrooms. Nice furniture in the room. Free transportation to take you down to colonnades. This is a Spa town. Many people come to Karlovy Vary to enjoy hot springs and healing water. Hotel offers good quality home made food buffet style 3 times a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can get SPA procedures of your choice and see the medical specialists as part of hotel services.
