"The room was clean. when we got back to our room in the evening, lemongrass oil was lighted, be it to give good scent or to prevent mosquitoes. The staff were friendly and nice. Breakfast provided is worth the value. The location is also strategic"

"A beautiful restored shophouse. Very welcoming staff and very clean common areas. The rooms can get a bit warm in the afternoon as part of the roof is covered in zinc and conducts heat directly into the room. Bed is located in the attic which can be a slight inconvenience but it adds to the overall charm of the place. Toilets are small and poky but still good enough for me. For the price, I would still recommend this place for those seeking something out of the ordinary. "

"Whats not to like. Its a delightful and charming gem of a place. The virtues of the 9th century vintage shophouse design are exploited to the full, in conjunction with al modern amenities. JL is a genial and affable host. I do expect to return and do not hesitate to recommend this venue to customers in the future. "

"Self check in&out super easy! Owner sent details beforehand. Very quiet place! They provide slippers. I like the kitchen area. Utensils available. Hot and cold water. Very clean!"

"Hotel is new.....earth tone bathroom, veey attentive owner. Took public transport....and grab at komtar, to sent someone to their homestay for hospital checkup. 4 steps, followed by 15 steps.....so maybe dont travel with an excessively heavy luggage....close to everywhere....."

"The room was super warm and humid. The windows couldn't shut fully and had incects coming in. The opposite of the property have chickens and dogs that will make noise super early in the morning. There were some lion dance practices till late at night. The room have no poles/hooks to hang stuff. Only have a small row of hooks behind the door. The property wall had tissue paper stuffed in it and multiple defects on the wall. The property has very noisy flooring, I can hear everyone walking...

"有家的味道！舒适！没有拘束感！喜翻！尤其是楼下的房间是独立toilet，还有后院，房间里有2张大床，不管是你是来开会1个人还是family几位，都满足大众！真的！ *走向大马路的对面，下午有一档Apongguan老伯卖的apong糕，是一定要去买了吃！好吃极了，不过要等哦！如果你是住在哪里的！！还有晚上那边附近老青屋餐室的虾面+烧肉+卤蛋，还有火气十足的炒粿条，肉骨茶...,总之下次我来槟城一定还要住回这家啦！！！"
