"Absolutely beautiful—period. I would definitely stay here again. Iso Castle offers a peaceful, beach-cabin–like experience that is all about location, quiet, and natural beauty. We stayed in December and loved falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing and waking up every morning to a stunning sunrise over the ocean. The views are truly unforgettable.
This is not a luxury or fancy property, and that’s part of its charm. Don’t expect a kitchen—there isn’t one—but there is a fridge, and everything was very clean and well maintained. The balcony experience was a highlight for us and added so much to the stay. I highly recommend booking a premium oceanfront room if possible. Rooms 233 and 234 are exceptional.
A couple of practical notes: there is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs.
The only downside was the service from one staff member at reception on Christmas Day 2024. She seemed quite grumpy and unhelpful, particularly when we asked to have our towels replaced, which was disappointing given an otherwise lovely stay.
Overall, Iso Castle is a beautiful, quiet oceanfront retreat. If you value views, serenity, and a relaxed beach atmosphere, this place is well worth it.
