Hotel Mountain Paradise

"We went for my son's senior trip and it was everything we needed for our family of 5 to have 2 separate rooms, our own private pool, an amazing view of the Volcano, a heated shared pool with a swim up bar and all the food, drinks and excursions that we needed were handled with grace by the staff. Highly recommended , and we will definitely be back!"

The Springs Resort and Spa at Arenal

"An incredible property immersed into the rainforest. So much to do on property including club rio where you felt even more remote. We enjoyed the hot springs more down in club rio than the ones closer to the rooms, which were also great. We saw monkeys and sloths on property as well. Staff were always very accommodating and the concierge staff were also very helpful. We would definitely staff at The Springs again."

Noah's Forest by Tifakara

"Noah's Forest is unmatched on quality, on service, on aesthetic, and on the overall experience they provide for their guests. Truly the best place we stayed at in Costa Rica. After we left I couldn't help but compare every other hotel to their's. Their welcome drink was divine, their free coffee bar was defintiely needed on a daily basis and was also very delicious. My son and I played pool and chess each day which entertained us through the torrential rain storms in the afternoons/evenings. We did the night walk and saw the most animals we have seen in our entire 10 day trip. Their food was absolutely perfect. They had live music in the evening and it just added to the Pura Vida feeling we had the entire time we stayed there. I need to give credit to their wonderful staff, Allan, Daniela, Cristel, Fernanda, Jaisen and Sophia. We were celebrating my 40th birthday and they made it the best birthday trip for me and my family. Thank you Noah's Forest, I will always recommend you and would give you 10 stars if I could."

"We stayed at Tabacón to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it was truly an unforgettable experience for our entire family. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. We were welcomed with delicious drinks at check-in and escorted to our room, where we found bathrobes prepared for the whole family—including our two-year-old daughter. We thought this was such a thoughtful and caring touch. The complimentary shuttle service to and from the hot springs was incredibly convenient, allowing us to enjoy the thermal river at our own pace. The hot springs themselves were absolutely amazing and one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. The breakfast was outstanding, and every staff member we encountered was kind, professional, and attentive. This was easily one of the most memorable experiences of our vacation, and we highly recommend Tabacón to anyone visiting the Arenal area. We would love to return someday!"

"The property was beautiful and well maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and spacious. Food and drinks were good. The breakfast buffet was amazing. The pools were amazing. I loved the different temperatures. The trails were lovely (finally saw my favourite type of frogs). The shuttle bus to take us to and from our rooms was extremely helpful. "
