"Absolutely incredible place. Check in was a bit weird because you need to check in at Hotel Kanazawa and only then proceed to this place. I missed the email where they said that and ended up having to walk all the way back to the station to check in at this other place and then back. They explained that in Japan by law check-in needs to be done face-to-face and since there is no reception on this place, that’s why you’re unable to do it here. Regardless, I would definitely stay here again...

"Wonderful apartment with more modern amenities than expected. Full kitchen, nice bath area (wet room with tub, separate from vanity area) & toilet in separate room. Washer/dryer. Loads of towels. Very efficient use of space, comfortable for 3 adults. Lots of restaurants nearby (izakaya just steps to the left, sushi across the road)."

"Beautifully designed, well appointed, thoughtfully presented, and absolutely gorgeous space. It was an excellent stay! The instructions were clear, the staff helpful and friendly. It was on a quiet street and still close enough to the main sites of Kanazawa that you could walk to anything in about 20 minutes, or take the bus on the bus loop from the nearby stop. Would definitely stay here again."

"A clean, efficient unit, much like a small apartment. Has a stove top, microwave and small kitchen to prepare simple meals or heat up things. About a 10min walk to the train station and a short wall to a bus stop and family mart. It is a walk up so you will need to climb stairs to your unit. The bathroom is like new and the bed is comfortable. "

"Clean and tidy, very well equipped. The rooftop is nice. Host is very helpful."

"Location, location, location! The property is located near all tourist locations. 25-30min walk from train station. 5-10 min from castle, gardens and samurai district. There is a beautiful shrine across the street. You’re also less than 5 min walk from the Omicho fish market. The staff were attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend it."

"電子レンジとドライヤーの同時使用などするとブレーカーが落ちるようで少し不便でしたが、施設の清潔感があり、問題なく過ごせました。また、オーナーさんとの連絡が密に取れ、施設利用パンフレットがあり、安心して宿泊できました。また機会があれば使わせて頂きたいと思います。"

"We love our stay at Kazueya! It gave us a chance to truly experience the ryokan and how locals live. We especially enjoyed the peaceful night in our surroundings :) In addition, one of the staffs (a young lady) at Pacific hotel was super helpful. Due to the language barrier, she helped me to get bus tickets to shirakawago and to Takayama. I can't thank her enough for that! Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay and I've already rated Kazueya 5 stars on Expedia!"
