Excellent location, quality hotel. Great, savory breakfast. The staff was the highlight of our stay. Very attentive and helpful.
It's wonderful and cost-effective hotel in Kanazawa. It is very close to Kenrokuen garden and Kanazawa castle. Also, It is quite close to Omicho market and downtown.
Hotel is in excellent location. Stones throw from Kenrokuen Garden. In front of the 21st Century Museum of Modern Art. Across the street from Kanazawa Castle Park. The hotel is modern chic--our room was spacious with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the castle grounds. The bath area (separate from the toilet room) was particularly nice. This is not a hotel with any real amenities--no public bath, no pool. There is a small restaurant but seems to close early and options seem rather limited. But these were not things that were important to us.
Loved our stay here. It was as raining when left kanazawa so we asked the gentleman running the reception desk to call us cab. Unfortunately cabs cannot be booked on rainy days so it was challenging for us to catch a cab on our own.. The.reception staff simply asked us to take the bus.
.. With two young kids and several heavy luggages, it was not ideal.

The hotel seems to be oriented toward self service check in and check out, so when you need to talk to a human, they can sometimes be a bit curt or impatient.
