"Our family of 6 stayed in this very lovely, clean villa in Kalathas, Crete, which is a wonderful location. The beach near the Villa is beautiful with plenty of chairs and umbrellas (you have to pay for them)! We did drive to the beach which is about 1 mile away. The Villa is only a 15-20 minute drive to Chania. The pool was beautiful and clean. There are 12 apartments, and it was quiet and serene. We really enjoyed our stay which slept 6 people comfortably. "We stayed at Alianthos Suites for a quiet getaway away from the busy center of Chania, and the location was exactly what we wanted. The area is peaceful, and the pool area is lovely for relaxing. We also loved having a semi-private sandy beach within walking distance and the fantastic Irene's Tavern nearby for authentic meals. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch to start the day. However, the rooms are quite dated. The bathroom and closets feel like they haven't been touched in years,...

"The staff is so nice! If you’re traveling with kids this hotel is perfect. They offer child care services for a very reasonable fee. The only downside for me is the gym was outdoor and way too small, but I’d still come back to this hotel. The rooms are cozy and spacious. We enjoyed so much our stay here."
