"The hotel was located outside the bush central, but had all necessary local amenities within a ten minute walk. A good location for older people, like myself, who prefer a quieter neighbourhood."

"I spent one week at Mitsis resort in October 2026. Unfortunately, despite booking a Superior Double Sea View room, my initial experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, I was allocated room 306 on the ground floor. The balcony faced the wall of another building, with no sea view at all (see photo). As this was not what I had booked, I had to complain to reception and request a room change. The next day, I was offered the only alternative, room 739 on the first floor, which at least provided a...

"Vor fünf Jahren waren wir das erste Mal da, vor zwei Jahren das zweite Mal. Auf gut Deutsch, der Lack ist ab… Sowohl die Qualität der Zimmerreinigung, der Wartungszustand der gesamten Hotelanlage als auch der Service haben über die Jahre leider merklich nachgelassen."

"Agapi Beach Resort was wonderful for the entire duration of my stay. The staff was accommodating and friendly. Food was fantastic and fresh at every meal and restaurant. The beach is clean and there were always enough chairs for everyone. Property was clean and updated. Events were fun and inclusive, but certain events can not be reserved in the app. Staff members can get you signed up, so speak to one of them if you would like to attend a posted event. "I could not fault anything in the hotel - fab food, service and room (with a swim-up room being well worth it!). The small gym is adequate with daily Pilates and body conditioning classes as a definite bonus. The beach and beach bar are both great. Lots of shops on the same road and easy to catch transport options into Heraklion (we loved the Hop On, Hop Off Bus). The only negative is that there is not loads to do and see in the local area - but this added to our relaxation TBH!"
