"We stayed here for two nights while visiting Meteora. The place is lovely. We had a room in the basement with a private bathroom. That is a must for us, and some rooms have shared bathrooms. The bed was large and comfortable. The shower was great. The only downside was that the window looked out into the backyard from the basement. That made the room seem a little smaller. "This is a new property in Kastraki, which is a 15 min walk or 5 euro taxi ride from the town of Kalambaka. Kastraki is a small, quaint village at the foot of the monasteries in Meteora. There is a lovely family run restaurant just at the end of the road, and a bakery across the street. The rooms themselves are well designed, modern and comfortable. For a fee, ask about late check out. It’s very much worth it given the transportation options out of Kalambaka. I’d definitely come back again!"

"This is by far the best hotel in town. Beautiful pool with seating friendly staff amazing breakfast options. Our room was large and bright with a balcony and a large bathroom. The pastries and compotes/jams were all made in-house . They take great care to explain what to do in the area beside the monasteries. We'd love to come back with our family and maybe spend a week ."

"Great location easy to find. Staff on arrival very helpful, not so when leaving.The argument as to if we’d paid the bill was pretty embarrassing for them. Room was ok good view of the monasteries. Breakfast was ok. No tea or coffee in the room had to use room service. Overall good value for money.Free parking on site, but we used the car park opposite. Plenty of restaurants and bars further up from the hotel."
