The room was VERY clean with all the amenities. Jacuzzi was fun. The resort was calm and peaceful.

Clean room, kind staff, cute cats in the lobby... They had it all. My mom and I stayed here for a week during our Maui visit. The Ohana room above the lobby was amazing and had a full kitchen that we cooked several meals at. We also loved using the propane grills to BBQ next to the pool. The little hot tub by the laundry mat was so cute and awesome to soak in at night. It was maybe a block away from the beach.

The property has a very confusing lay out. Parking is ‘first come first served’ so not only there may be no parking, the parking is not close to rooms or elevators. I was on the 5th floor, far away from elevators so getting luggage to and from the room was difficult (I am 75 years old). The shower floods the bathroom floor-a slip and fall potential. Highway sounds were audible all night long. Silly, but coffee provided for 1 morning only. The check in person seemed exhausted, so I imagine that they are short staffed; not helpful in terms of how to find my room or nearby restaurants/services.

The staff was really great. We had a power outage and rain the whole time. One of the hot tubs wasnt working and there wasnt much emergency preparation or even so much as a bag of chips to apologize. We lost all the food we bought that was in the fridge. I know that most of this was not their fault but i do think the hotel could have been better prepared. We went over to another hotel and they had fresh water out for everyone and charging stations.

The staff was amazing and super helpful all of them were very kind. The room and property just wasn’t ideal for us. We had thought we would get a garden room but I seated it was a small window to the parking lot and it was connected to another room where guests were very loud and we could hear everything. The room was also slightly dirty and the amenities were too close to where we were sleeping. The bathroom was super nice though!!

Front desk staff was unfriendly and made us feel unwelcome. Upon arrival, I was told that this was NOT Petite Retreat, though address was correct and they did find us in the system. I lost a scarf and when I asked for lost and found, I was told "we don't really do that." The water was turned off for a while as they were working on a plumbing problem (I understand that things happen) but the front desk staff seemed to be irritated by any questions about the timing of the water working. And the timeline was changing (why we had to ask) Housekeeping was only available one day during our 5-day stay. Checkout instructions included having to take out our own trash, and checkout time was 10AM which seemed too early. That being said, the grounds staff was quite nice and helpful. I won't book this place again.

The room was dirty and smelled musty. When taking the bedsheets off we saw a disgusting soiled matress cover that probably hadn't been washed in years. Very dissatisfied
