Pros: Room was spacious, beds fairly comfortable, and staff were friendly and welcoming. Had one vanity in the bathroom and one outside which helped speed along our morning routine. Cons: This hotel needs some TLC in a big way. Lots of worn and broken things. Water drained slowly. Breakfast was barely anything. No free water anywhere other than the taps - not at breakfast.

We had a long drive home from visiting our youngest for Thanksgiving. Because of the forecast for "winter weather", we decided to leqve Saturday night and get ahead of the rush of traffic. Somerset was a convenient stopping point and the Days Inn was a perfect resting place. It was clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced! The breakfast was not extensive, but it was what we wanted before getting back on the road. And all the staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely plan to stop here again as we travel back and forth to visit our kiddo!

Many things were done well and it was the cleanest hotel I have stayed in in a while, but the washers were not functioning and desk staff refused to put a sign on them (causing me to come back a second night to do laundry). Additionally, the floor above our master bedroom squeaked badly and the family above was very active from 11-12 two nights in a row.

The grounds and the facility could use an update. It is dated - but it is ALWAYS CLEAN. I have stayed here at least a dozen times and it is ALWAYS CLEAN. It's not the most modern but it is comfortable and clean. I wish there was a little more green space as it is "pet friendly".

The room was clean on my arrival; the man at the desk efficient and polite. The parking area is small but sufficient. Lighting could be better. It's all basic and a but tattered but considering the room rate and a one-night stay, it's exactly what I need.
