"This is an old hotel in a lower/mid neighborhood. They don't allow bag checking or early check in. The rooms were old but clean and functional. Price is readonable. You check in through a well worn hole in the glass and must make a cash deposit of $50. Some will be put off by this but it met my needs for the price."

"A really unusual hotel with great design and full of vibrant color. Easy and reasonable parking right behind the hotel. Quick check-in with a pleasant staff. Wonderful bar and restaurant. My only suggestions are that the lighting is too dim to see to work your door key card and the interior light switches, and we found the breakfast service to be indifferent and our orders incorrect. A mandatory 20% tip might be why. I would definitely stay there again but have breakfast nearby."

"We had a great time at the Tru Hotel! It was newly remodeled building and we were welcomed by a friendly staff. Loved how nice and clean the room and bathroom was. One of the best hotel options in the area for parking. There was street parking after 4pm for free or a public parking lot across the street for $25 through the hotel. Also it was in close walking distance to the Inner Harbor and lots of great restaurants. Such a nice choice for a weekend getaway! We’ll definitely come back. "

The bed and pillows were SO comfortable, coupled with the fact that it seemed our room was sound-proof, lol...we slept incredibly well. We didn't hear any noise at all. It was wonderful! There is plenty to do around it and we walked to dinner, which was nice. Parking was also very easy and reasonably priced. Our check-in was the only thing that didn't go smoothly due to a language barrier, but everything else made up for that. I...

"My friend and I stayed here as a weekend getaway. It was absolutely perfect. The service was phenomenal from start to finish. We did have an issue with valet but they corrected it immediately and gave us a discount on the cost. The hotel is stunning, lives up to all the hype. "

"Decent price for the stay. Centrally located. The water takes FOREVER to get hot, but does eventually get hot. Our room keys stopped working on day two of our stay?? So we went down to the front desk and the gentleman working the desk said nothing?? And just fixed them and handed them back? So thanks for fixing them but some sort of explanation wouldve been nice or assurance this wouldnt happen again since desk hours arent 24 hours and BOTH room keys were disabled?
