"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool was large and the patio was nicely decorated. We had a good meal and great cocktails in the bar/restaurant. The Trail Hotel is located just out of town, so it was easy to drive to downtown Bardstown or take a taxi. The room was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. We will devinitely come back again!"

"We had the handicapped room. It was well equipped for the handicap. The toilet was a little broken, as far as the seat goes. They dont provide shampoo or conditioner, and lotion. They do provide coffee in the lobby. For a motel 6, it was great. The price was on $75 for 1 night. I got on Expedia.com and reserved for another one night stay, and the price dropped to $55+taxes. Which was great. The overall stay was great!"

"Alexis checked us in and was very helpful when we needed towels or anything for our room. We stayed in 106 and it had it's own private entry way. The only thing was that it was next to the conference room and they did have a meeting one day while we were there and could hear them before the meeting started. "No towels in room on arrival. When I went to desk to request towels I was told they couldn’t dry linens .Fire doors opened to stair wells no closed due to carpeting . Elevator inspection expired. Pool was not maintained: slime residue on pool. I had bathed grandson in antibacterial soap. Door to pool area was rusted, safety closure not functioning , propped open with a towel. Ants on multiple surfaces in our room . Required me to clean room with sanitizing wipes. Fire occurred Sunday morning in...

"There was a full ashtray on the table outside of our room. The floor was filthy. The bathmat towel in the floor was brown with dirt. Disgusting. Didn’t have our reservation."

"Absolutely enjoyed our four-night stay at the Jailer’s Inn—great location with several great restaurants and taverns close by. The Bourbon Trail with several world-renowned distilleries, is also close by. Paul, the owner, and all his staff were extremely welcoming. The breakfast each morning was delicious. Private parking is available too!! A definite place to enjoy Bardstown and take in the area's history. We will be back!!"
