"Perfect location right near the quay but still quiet at night, even with the pub next door- couldn't hear a thing even though they had live music. Great bathroom lighting for doing your makeup - something many places don't have. (It's often like doing your makeup in a coal mine!) plug sockets at both sides of the bed `(three pin and USB!) "I saw lots of negative reviews for this hotel so was very nervous about booking but we’d been let down at the last minute with the accommodation we’d booked for our weekend away so booked the Ocean hotel and hoped for the best! "This was our second visit. We were initially given a room in a bad location on the second floor. We had to walk a lot and go through hot corridors. When we refused the room, we were then given a nice one on the ground floor. It was in good condition, and we really appreciated it."

"Prioe to arrival all instructions for entry were sent in case Pumpkin didnt have her humam to let us in (she's only little and cant reach the door handle).
