"Great downtown Honesdale, PA location. At check in I was told to park in the Wayne Memorial Hospital lot which is shared with the Hotel. Check in was pleasant/easy. Stairs to 2nd floor room. At end of day rush hour a bit noisy from the busy street/intersection. Room could use a thorough cleaning and some updates. Older mattress well past its' useful life. Sink water had mislabelled Hot/Cold faucets. Water had an odor? A/C worked OK but curtain blocked the flow if closed. Shower head...

"I've stayed a this location many time now, and find it to be an especially easy travel stop--- conveniently located just off the highway, reasonably priced, consistent and reliable service, can walk down to the IHOP next door for dinner, and most importantly I feel safe when I stay there. Others think of it as a twee little time capsule, an example of the pocono mountains in their former glory. The truth is a bit in between, though it is, in cat the worst place I have ever stayed.
