We thought this was an extremely engaging family owned boutique hotel with rooms of different sizes, little kitchenettes. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming The hotel did not provide a meal options.Therefore, I have no rating for that. We are looking to go back as a bigger family as our home base for some family celebrations coming up

Third stay

This was my third time staying at the Rafael Residence. Small one bedroom apartments. Convenient parking, friendly and accommodating staff, kitchenette, business friendly. Lovely neighborhood with excellent public transportation. Would definitely stay here again!

The location is fantastic! We had a garden suite which was lovely. However, the wifi was terrible. Kept going out and only worked, if at all, in the living room, not in the garden, bedroom or bathroom. We have stayed here many time over the past 10 years and they could use some updating. The bathroom needs renovation. There is a mini-tub, which cannot be used as a tub, and should be renovated as a new shower. There is the same rug in the living room for the past 10 years.

We liked the location, the manager was responsive and changed our room after we weren't happy with the WIFI connection, though it didn't help much. We also received free breakfast for 2 mornings which helped us a bit with our experience. we hae a free parking place though no lights in the parking lot! We didn't like that this property didn't have a good Wi-Fi connection and the kids always complained. though one of the rooms was a safe room. \ the rooms were not clean. and the kitchen was very dirty and we needed to clean it by our self because the cleaners were always in a different building and busy.... you better spend your money in a different place.

I We were three guests and the double room was well equipped with a double bed and couch bed with a microwave, coffee/tea machine, refrigerator, cutlery and crockery and standard bathroom supplies. The service was extremely prompt, responsive and accommodating, and the location was perfect with neighborhood restaurants, grocery stores and shops. Our ten day stay left little to be desired. I give it a high recommendation. I did not eat here but at the Grand Cafe below wi a 10% hotel discount for an excellent breakfast.

Amazing location in the heart of Baka. Very clean and compact. Perfect for our needs. Good value for money. Coffee shops and shul nearby. Very pleasant handling, even when we came in very late at night. Will definitely be back.

This was our first time driving in Jerusalem so it was a little overwhelming, but Eli was very helpful in finding the building over the phone and getting the keys after hours. The unit was sufficient for our stay of 2 nights.
