"Our first stay in Alexandra for two nights was absolutely wonderful! The beds were so comfortable, everything was clean, the towels smelled fresh, and the bathroom was much bigger than we expected. The kitchen was also super convenient to use. There was a supermarket right next door, and a playground just five minutes away, which was perfect for the kids. We also biked across the bridge and rode the Riverside Trail all the way to Clyde — the scenery along the way was absolutely stunning, and we made such beautiful memories."

"really lovely place to stay . 5 minutes drive from Alexandra or Clyde , lots of biking options near by with the rail trail about 1 km away . fruit trees ,pool, spa pool all you need for a peaceful stay"

"Only down side is that i didnt stay longer! A very cute little cottage with everything you need. Good heating, a very warm and comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom and a lovely little deck outside your room and access to a private outdoor bath. This is very close to Roxburgh and Ettrick traven is just up the road. I would love to come back and stay here again. There is no staff on site and i had to go to the cafe next door to ask about how to access my room. The ladies in the cafe said that happens often and they were very helpful. Not sure if this is a Hotels.com issue or a host issue. Was not a big problem and sorted quickly but good to know."

"We booked because the Hotel advertised a restaurant, but it was closed when we arrived. Not many other places to eat in Alexandra."

"This is a fantastic motel to stay. We had 4 nights here and the room was ideal for our stay. Wanted to bring the bed home as it is one of the best I've ever slept in. Thank you Avenue Motel for a great stay."
