"Very, very old and very cool hotel with just a few big pleasant rooms. Right around the corner from the old course. The pub downstairs is right out of a movie, full of golfers and golf lovers with golf dominating the conversation. Good pub grub and service - overall great experience. "

"Had a fantastic overnight stay, when we arrived our room that we booked wasn’t ready however we were upgraded to a Hotel suite with the only difference being we wouldn’t have a kitchenette. Check in process was easy, you have to pay £13.95 for parking at the hotel however we parked round the back where you only get 45mins however as it was a Saturday afternoon was able to park there overnight. "One if the staff went above and beyond when asked about laundry. She was amazing. She was also upset.to mearn that cleaning staff had left the dirty towels holding the door of our room open when we had checked in. She picked them up and took them away.. My husband really enjoyed the course. Due to the gale force winds he was not able to golf the 2nd day and he was disappointed. But that can be Scotland!. Due to the winds a brace should be available to keep windows open. A small feidge...

"Perfect accommodation for a few nights stay. Family owned and run. Check in was easy and when we enquired if room had a walk in shower we were changed to a room that did. Very friendly, attentive staff. Clean towels each day. Great bar meals, smaller portions available. Wonderful Guinness😍 highly recommend."
