Cleveden House is in a great central location, bedroom was ideal, comfy bed with a lovely modern bathroom. We managed to park locally for free which worked perfectly. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location, nice and upgraded rooms, bed was a bit hard/springy(needs a pillow top) but staff was awesome and saved our butt catching a taxi for our train! Super close to golf too. Definitely recommend

Cleveden House is situated in a perfect location on a quiet street, near the grocery store and restaurants, with easy access to the building. The room was comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed for our three-night stay in St. Andrews. The bathroom had a great shower. We would definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay here in a neat part of St. Andrews. It was a little tricky to find the first time, but after that it was wonderful. Beautiful old building. On our last morning, we ran into a sweet staff member who was delivering fresh baked cookies and helped us call a taxi.

Staff were so helpful and friendly from the get go . Hotel was immaculately clean! Although a small room, they do it very well indeed! We would return as location is 3 mins away from the old course and under 10 mins from the shops. The staff work hard and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for a great stay!

The rooms were very small and ours on the top floor required several flights of stairs which was hard with our luggage. They made great use of the room space. Another fan on hot days would be nice. We were hot.

The Clevenden House is the perfect solution if you want to be near the university or town center, but want to be off the main street. It's quiet (except for rooms on alleyway where dumpsters are emptied in the morning, but that's brief). You don't need to go to the pub first if you get the code to the door and room number via the portal or email (all of that info is in reminder emails). You enter, go to room and key is on bed. Also nice to be able to leave your golf or hiking big bags in the living room on first floor while you sleep or are exploring town, even after you check out. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
