"Mimaru is an excellent place to stay in Kyoto. It is only three subway stops from Kyoto Stdtion and it is in a very quiet area. It has exceptional amenities and our room was impeccably clean and very comfortable. There is a Family Mart about 30m from the front entrance. Highly recommended."

"A short few minute walk away from Kyoto Station. Friendly staff to greet you from the moment you arrive and every time you leave and come back too. It was further from all the places we want to explore in Kyoto but it was conveniently located next to Kyoto station so it was still a great location to be able to catch a train around the city to explore. "Absolutely loved the bathing room! My partner typically doesn’t take baths but using the Japanese method of shower first then bath has completely changed his mind! The tub is big and the perfect size for relaxing, and the bathing supplies smelled great. We felt so relaxed and always had a great night’s sleep! We also enjoyed the Yukata provided and the simplicity of the room. Overall we felt very relaxed and enjoyed our time! The only issue was the air, our room was nice and cool the first night...
